Happening at a Bus Stop and Lennon Everywhere!

Alena Straková was born at July 3, 2004 in Olomoučany, a village close to Brno, Czechia. She studied at Gymnasium in Blansko and she studies Motion Design at Secondary school of Art and Design in Brno. Her hobbies are activities of the Scout Association, creating videos and drawing. So far, her video work was only a part of her school projects and private production. We will present her film LENNON BOARD at our festival and it is her first public presentation.

LENNON BOARD documents a happening in Vranov by Brno, the public installation of a board at a bus stop and its re-creating in the style of a "Lennon Board" with the help of actors, passers-by and children from the local children's home.

"A friend of mine who was just writing the story called me to tell me that he needs to create a happening as a school project. So, I agreed to cooperate with him and we created and realized the whole thing during four days!", the author describes the creating process of the film.

The film was added into one of our festival blocks and you will be able to watch it at our festival already from November 14!
